Elisa Murillo
Elisa was born in Mexico City and has been residing in Los Cabos since 2021. Her work reflects an interest in using construction techniques with traditional materials in a contemporary manner, integrating the natural and built context into her projects.

A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at UNAM, she worked with Foster + Partners on the Apple Campus project in California. Afterwards, she collaborated for six years at Mauricio Rocha's Architecture Workshop, where she stood out as a project leader in the Remodeling and Expansion of the Anahuacalli Museum and the Álvaro Carrillo Cultural Center.

She also led a brigade after the 2017 earthquake in Chinameca, Morelos. In 2022, she founded Estudio Conjunto with Arturo Ojeda, where she now creates residential, cultural, and recreational spaces.
Arturo Ojeda
Arturo is originally from La Paz, Baja California Sur, and graduated as an architect from the Instituto Tecnológico de La Paz in 2015. For five years, he collaborated at the office of Mauricio Rocha and Gabriela Carrillo, standing out in projects such as the exhibition design for "The Great Animal Orchestra" at the Cartier Museum in France, Casa Tepoztlán, and the Cuatro Cuatros Winery in Ensenada.

After the 2017 earthquake, he joined volunteer brigades in Morelos, which sparked his interest in vernacular architecture. In 2021, he returned to San José del Cabo to start his independent career, co-founding Estudio Conjunto with Elisa Murillo. The following year, he won the Jóvenes Creadores grant awarded by FONCA to create the first collaborative archive of traditional architecture in Baja California Sur. Currently, he is working on the development of the first book on traditional housing in the region.
